bio
tsung-chen yao (alex) is a toronto-based architectural designer and photographer. 

his work focuses on crafting unique spatial narratives, driven by a deep appreciation 
for the interplay of materiality and light. with several years of experience traveling 
worldwide to photograph architecture and a local darkroom practice in toronto, 

currently collaborating with firms + brands for conceptual + artistic projects 
involving both photographs and short films on product, architectural narratives.
